Program Goals
Music performance has many positive influences on the individual. Through music classes such as choir, students learn performance etiquette, overcome anxiety and take risks. They also learn poise, time management, composure, teamwork, and the value of hard work. As a direct result of making music as a team, students have the opportunity to build and nurture lasting friendships with their fellow classmates in a safe environment. Students then take the discipline they have learned through being enrolled in a music class and apply it to all aspects of their lives.
